I do not charge anything to sit down and talk with a potential client (unless referred from Lawyer Referral Service,those clients are subject to a $20.00 consultation fee). I believe that being able to come in and ask a few questions about what exactly is going on without worrying about cost is an excellent first step toward a resolution of the problems I help my clients with. I also encourage clients to bring a friend or family member to these meetings if they so choose as they will often have questions of their own. Please note that some parts of meetings must be held with only the client and myself in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege. My office is conveniently located in downtown Austin in the Frost Bank Building. I recommend that you park on the street if you can as the building usually charges $10.00 to park in the garage.

Prices are difficult to set for a case, but I give all my clients an upfront set price should they choose to enter a plea in the case and not go to trial. That will also generally be the price should the case be dismissed by the prosecutor. I inform clients of what my rates are should the case go to trial and what the costs associated with trial preparation and investigation of the case will be. This information is provided in great detail in my information packets provided to all those whom I represent.
